Sound Beacher Takes a Look at the Last of Summer

Even though summer is officially over, we are lucky to have a few permanent visual reminders, thanks to Sound Beacher’s camera and good eye. I’m am the most drawn to the photo of the Oystercatcher. I don’t think I’ve even seen one in person. Really beautiful. Thanks SB. We love that you send us your pix.

  1. Beautiful photos. I too have never seen an Oystercatcher in person. Are they rare around here?

We’re getting rain all day tomorrow so it’s nice to see photos with some sunshine. I have grandchildren duty today, helping them with their Halloween costumes.

  2. I could have sworn I posted a comment a half hour ago but it’s not here. You block me?

We’re getting rain tomorrow too so pleasing to the eye to see the last of the northeast summer. Great photos.

        1. In the old days we saw a few good music acts at The Towne Crier in Pawling but it moved to Beacon. I’ve not been but I hear Daryl Hall of Hall & Oats has a live music bar/restaurant in Pawling. Is that where you saw Chad and Jeremy?

    1. Got me. CNN and MSNBC are in hyper “this is it” mode. Fox is hung up on the Clinton being behind everything. I guess we’ll know Monday. I’ll go with Manafort being the first victim.
