You won’t believe this but I never watch QVC, never, nor HSN either, for no other good reason than I am basically not a shopper.
But a couple of weeks ago, flipping channels, I came across QVC pitching a product called Good Hangups. I was so intrigued, I not only watched the entire QVC segment, I actually bought two sets of the product. Two!
The woman behind the invention (we know it had to be a woman and a mom to be so clever) was a contestant on The Today Show Next Big Thing and won.
The idea is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo simple, one we all say to ourselves, damn I should have thought of that – it’s removable stickers that have a magnetized circle in it and with the little magnets in the set, voila, art work on the stainless steel fridge!
Here’s a video, albeit with two women whose voices grate like fingernails on a chalkboard, but alas, the only YT video I could find, is a good explanation of the product and all it does.
I love my Good Hangups (versus not loving my other hang ups!) and use it all the time for grandkids art on the fridge or lists I want to post somewhere – even little reminders – works anywhere. PS: I notice that the YT video refers to a set being 18 stickers. The packs I bought each have 24 so they must have gotten customer feedback asking for larger packs. It’s a good thing.
I hope the inventor makes a fortune – I helped, $38 worth!
