Bay leaves, peppercorns, whole head of garlic, salt, whole lemon cut in half….
Cover with water and boil……..until knife tender…
Drain and let sit until ready to grill. A few hours away for us but this part is done. Fun process.
All done and oh my oh my sooooooooooooooooooo good. Served up on a bed ofr Boston lettuce with a little vinaigrette over it. The best, even better than the grilled octopus I had at Le Bernadin.
