From ABC15, Phoenix

PHOENIX – Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton.

The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane.

Former President Clinton was visiting the Phoenix area and arrived to Sky Harbor Monday evening to depart.

Sources tell ABC15, Clinton was notified Lynch would be arriving at the airport soon and waited for her arrival.

Lynch was arriving in Phoenix for a planned visit as part of her national tour to promote community policing.

ABC15 asked Lynch about the meeting during her news conference at the Phoenix Police Department.

“I did see President Clinton at the Phoenix airport as he was leaving and spoke to myself and my husband on the plane,” said Lynch.

The private meeting comes as Lynch’s office is in charge of the ongoing investigation and potential charges involving Clinton’s email server.

The private meeting also occurred hours before the Benghazi report was released publicly involving Hillary Clinton and President Obama’s administration.

Lynch said the private meeting on the tarmac did not involve these topics.

“Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix,” said Lynch Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Phoenix Police Department.

Sources say the private meeting at the airport lasted around 30 minutes.

“There was no discussion on any matter pending before the Department or any matter pending with any other body, there was no discussion of Benghazi, no discussion of State Department emails, by way of example I would say it was current news of the day, the Brexit decision and what it would mean.”

Lord people, we are so being screwed by the entire Obama administration. Lynch would honestly have us believe they talked grandchildren?????????

  1. If ABC 15 hadn’t been there, we’d never know about the meeting. No one should be surprised by this at all. This is how the Clinton machine works and anyone who thinks otherwise is wearing an I’m With her tee shirt.

    1. It’s so hard for me to understand why no one has been able to charge Hillary with anything. The GOP wimps on the Benghazi committee blew it. The wall the Obama administration has built around its cabinet members and Federal employees is higher than any Mexican wall Trump will build and worse, we pay for Obama’s wall. I’m sick I tell you, sick and tired of them all.

Review of the most recent Marley Spoon recipes would presume I’ve prepared one yet. I have not. One of the recipes has KimChi in it and it stunk up the refrigerator so badly I had to toss it out, even before making the meal. I stopped my subscription, wrote them a very long letter why, and got an lovely note back from them thanking ME for my in-depth comments.

I loved the product. The quality of the goods was extraordinary. The recipes were sensational, in variety, in flavor content, in ingredients. Everything was perfect. The recipe cards were easy to follow (although I’d make them foldable for better storage). Of the recipes I have made, there wasn’t a clunker. I have three this weekend to try and I’m excited at the prospect. So why would I cancel?

I am an empty-nester who cooked forever raising a big family. I just don’t cook much anymore with all the kids gone and flown from the coop. With your recipes I found myself liking to cook a real meal again but not to the extent that I’d want to cook that well so often. There are nights when we just want soup or a salad. It might be the kind of box I’d send to myself on occasion, but not weekly. I think it makes a perfect gift option for newlyweds, or a couple just home with a baby.

My only criticism was all the heavy packaging. It was packaged to perfection, clearly marked and everything iced, but how many ice packs can I keep in the freezer if three come per box? I don’t begrudge you for packing it the way you did – I can see careful thought went into each part of the process, and I’m not a greenie save the earth sort, but it did seem too much. It’s almost the kind of meal service I wish I could run to a local purveyor and pick up, with my own bags. I know that defeats the whole purpose of the meal in a box, I’m just thinking out loud.

I can’t say enough good things about the product quality but i think I’m not your target audience.

      1. You may not think you’re the target audience but in fact you are very important to the success of the venture. You’re the person with disposable income who knows who would appreciate meals in a box and would likely send them as gifts. Add you to the people who order for themselves because it’s convenient and makes them feel kitchen capable.
You sent a well thought- out letter. I’m impressed they replied. Leaves a favorable impression which is what marketing is all about. Helps to have a good product but even that isn’t necessary.

        1. This was their reply which I got within a couple of hours of sending my note. I’m impressed too.

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback. I am thrilled to hear that you loved the meals! I understand your concerns regarding the packaging- we are constantly striving to reduce waste and minimize packaging, ice packs, etc. We alter the amount of ice packs based on weather forecasts so as temperatures heat up, the number of ice packs sent increases. We do hope you try us again down the road, perhaps when you have more people to cook for? It’s always easy to skip weeks and just receive boxes when it works for you. Hope to have you cooking with us again soon! Again, thanks for the constructive and well thought out comments.
          Best,
          Jennifer

        2. Hold on! No coupons for free dinners (five or ten at least) to get you back in the saddle? Or maybe a reduced subscription rate for the next six months? Methinks Ebenezer Spoon is a more fitting monicker for their penny-wise enterprise.

        3. That did occur to me but the company is brand new, not even a month. I bet I’m not the only one who tried and bailed so it would be darn costly to offer all of us coupons. On the other hand it’s no denying I AM special so a coupon to me might be appropriate. 🙂

  2. Don’t forget Lynch met with Obama the very day Hillary became the presumptive nominee and also said they never spoke about the email.

  3. Did any of these plane pow-wow attendees at least get a haircut from Cristophe while they were parked there chit-chatting idly?

    1. Ha. Funny. Who knows who got (or gave) what to whom! But when the two were busy talking about golf and grandchildren, how could there be time for a haircut?
Looking back at the 1993 story about Bill getting that haircut, the author was shocked at the price tag of $200. Today $200 barely gets you in the door of a good salon, certainly not a hair cut.

  4. I had hoped for more substance with the Benghazi hearings, but, the GOPe was playing safe. Honestly, the elephant in that room is Obama and why he was not acting in the capacity he had been elected to. If the heat was on him, he’d have no problem making her take the fall.

I agree with you about being dismayed with the current, presumptive nominee for the donkey party. Just recalling her term as first lady and all the crap that occurred then should have been enough to banish her from consideration for any further “public Service”.

I really hope these two run as a team – they have a synergy together that I find irresistible :

    1. I’m actually surprised Pocahontas is campaigning for Hillary. There’s no love for her, there’s not even any respect for HRC Wall Street greed, so like All Things Clinton, there’s some dirty deal in the background. I’ll scratch your back if you kiss my ass.

        1. Speaking of of GOPe and tossing things, like my cookies, Mitt’s son has encouraged Mitt to run.

        2. I’m seeing that about Romney. This morning he’s quoted as saying he won’t run but his conscience won’t allow him to vote for Trump. FFS Romney.

        3. The good folks at Weasel Zipper are making mincemeat of Mitch for praising Hillary. They also handed Obama the PR bailout money. Throw the lot of them out and send them down to PR to survive.
