I Think Clint Eastwood Got it Right, About ALL Politicians

2016 is sure shaping up to be a squirrelly year for politicians – on both sides.

First up, on the Democrat scene, this Tweet from a White House correspondent:

No Formal Agenda??????????????????? Just a beer sit down suggesting to Bernie that he bow out for Hillary’s sake? Or to tell Bernie that Joe is entering the race? I’d love to be a fly on that wall.

Then this on the even stranger Republican side: Trump tells the media he will NOT participate in the next Fox debate, citing a problem with Megyn Kelly’s attitude.

The news anchors were swift to comment, and Chris Matthews didn’t disappoint:

Chris Matthews just now on just asked re without Trump, “who’s gonna watch the two Cuban guys?” Really?

No, that’s not racist at all Matthews. What a loser.

Hillary is up and down in the polls. Bush is dying to get under Trump’s skin. Kasich is gaining ground in New Hampshire. And poor Carly Fiorina, no one talks about her. Time for her to bail.

Sit back folks – it’s only going to get weirder. If that’s at all possible!

  1. I can’t top the first commenter [EdNote: I removed the first comment] but I think Trump is right to bail on the debate. They are the worst formats to begin with, not allowing for any real debate, rather it’s a sound bite frenzy. I’m reading his people will negotiate a one on one interview at CNN at the same time as the debate.

  2. I’m no Trump fan but when Roger Ailes has his people put out this stupid statement about Trump, Trump has no choice but to bow out. I agree with The other commenter who said the R debates are tedious.

    See Fox’s comment:
We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

    1. The Fox response was juvenile at best, more nasty than anything. I’m hearing Cruz will not show up either and has challenged Trump to a 90 minute one on one debate. Works for me.
