Over Christmas, we checked the newly (last year) installed 320 gallon propane tank to see how much we had burned through and were pleasantly surprised that the gauge read at 30%, 25% being the red mark to call.
I called Halstead Quinn anyway and said it wasn’t urgent but that when they could, delivery would be a good thing. They came today (that’s Billy above, with a mean blue jeans wedgie, filling the tank) and the tank only needed 210 gallons. That’s pretty decent I think and says we keep the thermometers low enough that our consumption is modest. If I can go eleven months only needed a 210 refill, I can cheer. And turn up the heat!
Curious – what do others pay for propane? HQ is the Escalade of providers so I know we pay more than your average consumer, but do I want to know how much more? Try me.
