If Bill Gates Spent Less Time on Stupid Global Warming, He Could Fix This More Pressing Issue!

Pet Peeve Number 3, behind lazy double-parkers and people who don’t use their turn signals:

Printing anything from the computer, when the second page is blank, it should NOT even register that there is a second page. And if you don’t stop and look first, yes, you print a blank page.

The rain never let up so I stayed in and finished the Christmas menu planning to add some good hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Talk about having a Merry Christmas!

  1. Why aren’t you bogged down down Christmas Cards like the rest of us??? Takes so much time, but am so happy I do them and I do LOVE to receive them. I just vow every year I’ll organize the mailing list in August, update the computer labels by October and spend Thanksgiving time writing the personal notes. It just never seems to happen the way I plan it out in my mind. Procrastination is a growing older disease!

    1. We haven’t sent a card in a few years. Instead, we make a donation to a charity we all agree on. It changes year to year. And we get fewer cards, maybe because we don’t send one. Or others are doing the same.
My pet peeve is getting an imprinted card with no personal note.

        1. I only get a handful of emailed cards -they tend to be the people who send a LETTER, an epistle of their entire year, 99% of which I really don’t want to know about, especially your operations. I’ve been known to print them out and put them in the basket with the other (real) cards.
