Today’s Jumble

Yes, that mess is all my power cords and ear phones, in one huge knot!! Since I’m on the road a lot, I keep all pertinent power cords and batteries in one big baggie – grab and go, until now, as I’m about to take a walk on the beach (am in RI this week), I TRIED to grab the ear phones but they seem permanently entangled with the Kindle cord. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

What do the rest of you do to mange this jumble? I’d love some thoughts.

Photos from walk on the beach to come.

  1. Put each cord in its own Baggie. Put all the little baggies into a large Baggie. Depends on how organized you fell like being. Get rid of the cords for gadgets you no longer use. Says she with the tangled mess of earbud wires and only one working pair.

    1. Great idea!!!!!!!! The jumble is the cords I use. You wouldn’t want to see the drawer of cords of long forgotten gadgets. But that’s a story for another day! 😁

  2. Zip-lock with labels – in multiple sizes.

When I get new cords, a Brother label goes on the cord to match it to the device with notes as to tip + or – and how many volts.

You’d be amazed how un-standard it has all become. But that’s the beautiful thing about standards – there are so many of them!
