Every Once in a While I Stop and Think, If I Had to Define Myself by Words or a Photo, This Would Be Me!

You can choose to live your life with the joy of the front row or solemnness of the third row.
The choice is yours.

  1. You made my day. This is amazing. I’m the other gal in the front row with you!
To whom is the quote attributed?

  2. PS: Is that how you spell solemnness, two n’s? Plus, is that even a word? I would have said solemnity.

  3. You’ve included some fabulous photos in your blog but none has made me laugh so much as this one. Time for me to move from the middle to the front row and join the fun.

  4. my dear EOS,
As you know, we are all on vacation, some skiing first and now sunning. Today is the first day I decided to peek in and I swear, I broke down in tears. I grew up a third row gal, neither my grandmother mor mother had a sense of adventure or much of a sense of humor. I felt stifled. The inner happy girl was crying to come out but I didn’t know how. I had no first hand knowledge. It wasn’t until I got to college that I started seeing life from the front row, pushing myself to enter the arena at everything. It was very hard for me as I was still a Timid Mouse. It was my (now) marvelous husband who showed me how wonderful life could be when you sit in the front row, laughing the whole big roller coaster ride of life.

When I met you I knew right away you loved life but now this image and you are forever imprinted in my head. I love you for posting this. Even my husband teared up seeing it.
