Sydney Architecture

We asked our hotel if we could arrange a guided tour of the architecture in this amazing city – from the old to new but alas, we were told the first availability is Saturday, when we are on leg one of our million mile march home.

If anyone wants to (a) extend our stay, (b) rebook our flights to Monday and (c) upgrade us to Business or First, we can be reached at this blog!! Thank you in advance for your kindness!! 🙂

Absent that, this compendium of random shots will have to suffice.

New construction is EVERYWHERE!!! Builders must be doing very well.

This is one of my favorite buildings; that apartment at the top, under the eyebrow windows....I bet that's pretty neat.

  1. FABULOUS architecture photos!! So great that you got out to Star City!! still looks pretty good!! Mr. Random Tourist really gets around!! Love that you took the ferry out to Taronga… wondering if you passed the Baden Road flat on the way out or back…. with the tennis court sitting out in the harbour… almost directly across the harbour from the Opera House…

Green with envy.. that bright blue sky always was a winner!!
