Guessing its close or just over two feet? Dawg ventured out to pee but I wasn’t able to convince her to bring yardstick with her to measure.

No power outage, thankfully.

Mr. EOS not as lucky in RI. Got his truck stuck around 9pm and had to trudge back to the house, grumbling the whole way about the damn Dodge. Power out even before that. He’s got the generator running for heat and coffee and promised he’d send photos. It’s the wind in RI that was the worry factor.

Wondering if Martha left for Florida at 5:30. And if Sound Beacher and family left as well, they traveling by plane. Check in if you can.

More throughout the day. Feel free to send photos to post here.

I ventured out to see if newspaper was there. No. No great loss, considering it’s the New York Times. The biggest decision was selecting which boot was right for exploring. Kind of a no brainer!

The roads seem quite passable. My driveway has been plowed and there’s no wind, so I say we got off pretty easily.

NEWS AND PHOTOS FROM READER SOUND BEACHER(2:03PM)
The Sound Beacher Family checked in saying:
We are soon to head out to the airport. Flight has been changed 2x’s, the concern is that the Gov. of CT had banned driving so we’ll be breaking the law to get to LGA. I’ve seen plenty of cars driving up and down the main street here. Got all our shoveling done early before the sunshine and wanted to share some pics.

Wow! That is a lot of neige!!

We made a last minute decision and left Thursday night after dinner (8:30!! We are morning birds) but we are safely nearing North Carolina now, without spotting a flake.

    All the best,

    Martha

I’d take some of that stuff here, EOSr! So far, we’re 20 inches of snowfall below normal and we had a historic drought last summer so it’s not looking good for the upcoming growing season. You and Mr. be careful out there!

Funny you should say that. I just saw a Tweet from a Colorado resident asking for the same.
